Movie Review
The hunger Games is about people who have to fight each other in an arena that is different each time. There are two people chosen, a boy and a girl, from each district. Those two will have to go through training. Then they will all have to go into an arena and fight to the death and there can be only one victor each time. The victor will get food and oil for their family. The victor also has to go live in the Victor's Village and become a mentor. This year in district 12 it is Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mallark who know each other from the pasts years in district 12. They both have to keep themselves alive in the arena while everybody else is hunting them down.
Cinderella
Late on a Saturday evening Melissa Jones died. By winter time the husband, John, had already remarried. Then Cinderella, the only child of Melissa Jones, had two new stepsisters. Even though they were beautiful on the outside, they were vile at heart. They took away all of Cinderella’s good clothes and replaced them with an old grey bedgown. They also made her do all the hard work. After a couple days, she got tired of doing all that hard work and told her father, but he didn’t believe her. After a couple years of the same horrible punishment day after day, she decided to go and tell the police. Her two stepsisters, Mary and Kate Jones and her stepmother, Claire are in prison for making her do all the hard chores she wasn’t old enough to do.
The History Of Television
There are probably many televisions in your home today, but have you ever wondered how television ever came to being what it is like today? Wonder no longer! Read this to find out how television became the way it is to this very day. During the 1970s, only 98% of American homes had a single television set throughout the whole home. The average amount it was on was almost a total of 7 hours.
The first electronic television was invented by Philo Taylor Farnsworth after he was living in a house without electricity for a total of 14 years. In high school Philo often thought about what it would be like to have a device that could capture moving images and be coded onto radio waves and then transformed back into a picture screen. The first electronic television was invented in San Francisco on September 7, 1927.
A company that dominated the radio business invested $50 million in the development of the electronic television. The early newscast on CBS were mainly chat talks. CBS was the main competitor with two 15 minute newscasts a day and viewing to a tiny audience. The television had poor quality and you had trouble seeing the newscaster. In 1939, RCA showed the opening of The New World’s Fair, and the first president to appear on television was Franklin Delano Roosevelt who gave a speech. By 1949, Americans who lived within the range of a television station, could watch in the country. They could choose between two different 15 minute newscasts or The Jack Benny Show.
For shots of news event, the networks relied mainly on the newsreel companies. In 1950, The Red Channels supposedly listed Communist associations of 151 performing artists. The Big Money Quiz Show was introduced in 1950, also I Love Lucy had been recorded on film since it was debuted in 1951. Within 1953 and 1955 television programs began to take some steps away from radio formats. The very first video tape was invented by Ampex in 1956. The creator of The $64,000 Question was forced to resign from the network in 1959. No new invention entered homes faster than black and white television sets. The first home videocassette became widely popular in the late 1980s.

Cut The Rope is a fun game where a piece of candy is hung up by ropes that you have to cut and make the candy drop into Om Nom’s mouth. Om Nom is a monster that you have to feed candy to in order to finish each level. You can cut the ropes in any way as long as Om Nom can reach the candy. If the candy doesn’t reach Om Nom, you will have to start that level over again. There are several levels in which you can play. As you finish each level the next is harder than the last one.

Agree/Disagree Argument
I disagree with the four day and two hours longer school days. You would have less time for outside activities because it would be dark out when school is over. You would also have to spend more time with the teachers who are mean to you. On weekends it would be harder to have a family vacation. You would also have to eat supper later than usual. You would also have less time for homework to get done. You would also have less time to sleep and you would be tired and unfocused during the school hours.
