Ross Round Up
Engage. Empower. Educate. Every Day.
January 20, 2023
We had parents send in $5 gift cards for our teacher appreciation Wednesdays once a month. How that works is when we have our early-release Wednesday staff meetings, teachers gather to work together to look at student data and plan learning experiences. As part of that meeting, teachers write each other anonymous notes to highlight positive things they've noticed in each other. We put all those notes in a bucket and draw out 5 winners, who get to choose gift cards donated by you. The rest of the notes are delivered to teachers.
How can you help? Send $5 gift cards from anywhere in town to school and we'll get them to teachers to show them your love and appreciation. Teachers love coffee, milkshakes, and french fries.
This week, we also had Black Canyon Gourmet Popcorn donate some delicious flavored popcorn to our staff. We've enjoyed snacking on that this week!
We want you to know that we appreciate the love you share with us. We hope you know we pass that love on to your children every day.
Love,
Principal Tripp

| January Ross Value: Leadership Our January Ross Value is Leadership. Students will set goals in one of the 6 Leadership areas with Principal Tripp. Our CAST student leadership team will be planning a school-wide activity during lunch recess for the end of January. It will be so much fun to see our students in action! | Parent Advisory Committee Meeting, 2/2, 5:30-6:30pm Please come to the Parent Advisory Committee Meeting in early February! We'll be planning some Spring activities, like running club. We'll also be figuring out how to utilize our new CAST student leaders--they have so many great ideas to explore! If you'd like to attend--just let Mrs. Tripp know via email (mrtripp@kunaschools.org) and I'll put you on the invite. |
