SPECIAL ELECTION FOR CONTINUATION OF LEVY OVERRIDE
JOIN US!
Millard Public Schools is seeking voter approval to continue the levy override authority the district has had since 2018. The levy override has ensured stability in Millard. By law, it must be renewed every five years. Join us for a public presentation to learn more about the levy override.
• January 24th | 6 pm | Millard North | 1010 South 144th Street
• January 31st | 6 pm | Millard South |14905 Q Street
• February 2nd | 6 pm | Millard West | 5710 South 176th Avenue
MILLARD SPECIAL ELECTION TO CONTINUE THE LEVY OVERRIDE AUTHORITY
Ballots for Millard Public School’s special election will be arriving in all Millard mailboxes in mid-February. The district is asking voters to continue the levy override authority that has been in place since 2018. Nebraska law requires voters to approve levy overrides every five years. Millard’s override has provided stability, and without it, reductions would most likely be necessary in both people and programs. Learn more about the levy override and this election here: mpsomaha.org/about/millards-levy-override
