We are optimistic, confident, and ready to serve you! We have high expectations for our system and are excited for you to come with us on this journey.

Meal Application Forms!
This year more than ever, it is important that you fill out our Free and Reduced Meal Application form. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, application guidelines have changed to allow many families to access the benefits of the Free and Reduced Meal plan. If you have qualified in the past, it is important that you resubmit your application this year. If you have not qualified in the past, we encourage you to apply this year. More applications provide more clarity as we roll out our meal delivery program, and earn our district more support and benefits from the government level. The application is quick, very confidential, and can be submitted via the link below.
Bell Schedule: Comprehensive Distance Learning
View this link, here, or the image below to see your student's bell schedule.
This dynamic bell schedule allows for your student to be interacting with their peers while working alongside - and learning from - highly-qualified teachers. The schedule is well-rounded: students are exposed to an elective class, will have an opportunity for "specials" (PE or Music), and will continue to reinforce self-awareness, organizational, and strong social-awareness skills in our Life/Homeroom class. In addition, students will be cued to engage in all four core classes each day.
At EMS, we believe our middle-level students are in need of additional guidance when working independently. So, we have built in time for individual, student-applied learning within the class period. Your student will have minimal academic tasks to complete outside of the school day.
Please be on the lookout for the follow; they have not been defined yet (and we are working together as a staff to do so):
--Teacher/Staff office hours
--An explanation of the 45-minute class period
--"How-to" guides for accessing PowerSchool Parent Portal
--"Who-to" guides for asking for help
In reality, though, students are attending 7 classes each day.
When looking in a detailed view, students will be attending three hours of teacher-facilitated learning, two hours of student-applied learning, and one hour of breaks.
Below is a bell schedule of the classes.
