Automobile Mechanic

Introduction

Growing up in Chicago IL, I've been interested in Auto Mechanic since my dad and my brother start buying cars and they start fixing cars. My whole family is the same they like those stance cars that are the best thing that I ever seen in my life. I'm starting by learning things of part of cars that my dad tell me that are important like change the brakes , oil, change the wheels and all those things. I start learning a little bit when I was 10 or 11 years old. I'm really want to buy my car now and start tuning my own car.

  • Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.
  • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.

Work Environment


Most automotive service technicians and mechanics work in well-ventilated and well-lit repair shops. Although automotive problems often can be identified and fixed with computers, technicians perform many tasks with greasy parts and tools, sometimes in uncomfortable positions.


Education and Training

Some high schools offer adequate training programs, though most mechanics are expected to have completed an associate degree or certificate program in automotive technology training. An associate's degree is a 2-year program.

Preferred Job Skills

Diagnostics Abilities- Imagine what it would look like.


Instructing- Teach others how to do it right .

My post Secondary Plan

After I finish High School I would take some classes about Mechanic. There are many classes that I could take for example one of them are Automotive Engines & Repair another one is Advanced Diagnostic System . You'll learn everything from basic engine systems to computerized fuel injection, anti-lock brakes, passenger restraint systems, computerized engine controls and much more. Those are the most important classes that I can take to be a good Mechanic. I have so many opportunities about how to learn Mechanic.Many people like me become Mechanics because that's the thing or the job that they really like. Most people get training by them self's or by seeing other people how they work. If you're inserting in Auto Mechanic you can go to college. You can get a degree from

While I was doing research for the career that I want to be I learned a lot of stuff that I even know. Now I know how to choose in the right way the College that I can go. I'm not sure to what school go but I'm kind of know which one should I go.
