Mission Statement
The Eucharistic community of Saint Paschal Baylon Catholic School focuses on Christ-centered values and develops the unique potential of each student through a rigorous and engaging curriculum.
Just a Few More Days, Green Knights!
In a few short days our halls will be filled with smiling faces and happy feet! Our teachers are busy with their opening meetings, an inservice on setting goals and differentiating instruction using data from MAP testing, and putting the final special touches on their classrooms. The excitement is building!
Three wonderful events were held to welcome families to our school, including the Preschool Classroom Reveal, the Kindergarten Meet and Greet, and the New Family Social. We want to to extend our thanks to our preschool faculty/staff for organizing the Preschool Classroom Reveal. Thank you to our PTO, specifically Mrs. Colleen McHugh, for planning the Kindergarten Meet and Greet, and Mrs. Sarah Reynoso for coordinating the New Family Social. Thank you to the current families who have offered to help our new families as they transition to our school. We appreciate all of the hard work, time, and creativity that went into organizing such inviting events for our families!
Don't forget to join us for Meet Your Teacher on August 20 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Please note that Meet Your Teacher is for K-8 ONLY. This year we are also asking that all back to school forms be completed online and hard copies submitted by the first day of school. If you are having trouble with your computer or your printer isn't working, stop in the computer lab during Meet the Teacher to complete them and print them out. The link is currently live and can be accessed here. The online forms are for K-8 ONLY. Preschool families should have received hard copies in their welcome packet to complete and submit.
I am happy to share that Regina Payro will be our new Spanish teacher. Regina most recently worked at St. Barnabas and St. Mary-Chardon. She will be here on the same days as Spanish was last year so the schedule does not need to be changed. Welcome, Mrs. Payro!
Please keep our students as well as our faculty and staff in your prayers as the new school year begins in a few days.
Blessings,

Parent/Student Handbook Changes to Note
- Page 10-The cell phone policy that was instituted last year will continue this year. Students will turn in their cell phones to their homeroom teachers each morning. Cell phones will be collected and stored in the school office during the day and returned to students' classes prior to dismissal.
- Page 11-Information on contagious illnesses has been added.
- Page 14-The O/S/N/U scale has been adjusted slightly to make the distribution of percentage grades more even.
- Page 21-A policy listing specific snacks that are allowed is now included.
- Page 25-Dress code information regarding leggings has been added.
- Page 26-As you were made aware of last school year, boys will be required to wear polo shirts with the SPB logo during the 2019-2020 school year. This will be a transitional year allowing boys to wear polo shirts with or without the logo.
Any other changes were minor and were made to simply clarify a policy.
