Calendar Updated Weekly
NEW INFORMATION for This Week's Hilltop Happenings
Bus and Carpool Information
SHE families,
Transportation is very important and sometimes tricky. Please take the time to review transportation with your student. Also, if your transportation will change, for daycare purposes only, we ask that you send a note with your child. This note should be dropped by your child at the front office first thing in the morning. For safety purposes, Mrs. Shenk will call to verify transportation changes with you and then deliver all notes to the teachers.
Bus: Students, who ride the bus, will arrive between 7:10 and 7:25 am.
1. Cars should not enter the bus lane prior to 7:25. Once all buses have been unloaded, a SHE staff member will indicate that the bus lane is open for car pool drop-off.
2. When using the bus lane, please drive slowly and pull forward to our staff, who will assist your child(ren) in unloading.
3. As you exit the bus lane lot, please use extreme caution at the 3-way stop as the car pool lane is also exiting.
4. The bus lane is not available for afternoon dismissal.
Carpool: All students, who arrive and depart using carpool, need a carpool number (assigned by family). If you have not picked up your PINK carpool number, please park and walk inside to the front desk. You will need to show your identification to the front office staff. This year's family carpool number will be your family carpool number as long as you are at SHE.
AM Carpool: 7:10 to 7:40 am
1. Please drive slowly, always have your pink carpool number clearly displayed, and stay in your car as you drive forward. We have staff assigned to help your child(ren) to unload and it is not safe for you to get out of your car during carpool.
2. Unless there is a special circumstance, please use the carpool lane for drop off rather than parking and walking your student(s) to the front of the building.
3. After 7:25, watch for a SHE staff member to indicate that the bus lane is open for morning carpool. The same safety rules apply for carpool in the bus lane.
PM Carpool: 2:20 to 2:35 pm
1. If you arrive early, when weather permits, please do not leave your car idling.
2. Please have your pink family carpool number clearly displayed for staff.
3. Please remain in the carpool line for pick up. It is safer for all children, if you remain in the carpool line and allow staff to assist in loading your students for pickup. Once we begin carpool dismissal at 2:20, it moves faster if all parents remain in your car and drive through. The last child is typically loaded no later than 2:35.
4. If you do need to check out your child, for an afternoon apt., we ask that you do so prior to 2:00 pm.
SHE LUNCH DATES BEGIN MONDAY, AUGUST 19th
Beginning Monday, August 19th, you or family members are welcome to join your child(ren) for a Lunch Date. Please reference the lunch schedule through the link. When you arrive, please sign the LUNCH DATE sign-in and place a yellow LUNCH DATE sticker where it is visible for staff. Please wait in the cafeteria rotunda for your child(ren). You are welcome to bring lunch or eat a school lunch. Adult prices apply. We do ask that only your child join you on the stage for your Lunch Date.
FYI: There are times when the stage is closed for lunch dates and these times will be announced in advance. Please respect when we cannot allow lunch dates and abide by the times, as listed.
#SHEShares: We work to provide our students with community service opportunities.
