Homework
1. Spelling Words- Students are given a practice test on Mondays. That "test" is sent home with a spelling homework sheet to be done during the week and returned on Fridays.
2. Saxon Readers- Students receive 1-2 readers a week to be read at home nightly. This is important to their reading development.
3. Sight Words- Each student has a list of words they are working on. When they master one list they will receive the next list. We access words every 3 weeks unless the student or parent lets us know they are ready before then.
4. Math- Students were given two math text books in the fall to be used as math practice at home.
5. Looking for additional ideas? Students may write their numbers as high as they can go, write a story, sort and count objects, and put words in alphabetical order.
