October 14-18, 2019 --- Home of the Wildcats
Dear Walker Families,
Dear Walker Families,
Another very important reminder---students that are not in the building by the 7:45 am tardy bell must be walked into the office to be signed in. Car drop-off times are 7:15 to 7:45, and our school day begins promptly at 7:45. Supervision of students by Walker staff ends at that 7:45 time, so students must be escorted in the building if tardy. Thank you for your attention to this very important matter.
Please remember that it is prohibited by law to be on your cell phone in a school zone while children are present. This poses a safety risk for our students, parents, and other drivers around Walker.
Report cards will be coming home Tuesday, October 22, so please be looking for those in student folders. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child's teacher.
Springdale Public Schools is now hiring bus drivers! If you or someone you know might be interested in this great opportunity, please see/pass along the information below!
We have several upcoming events in October, so please make sure you check Monday folders and backpacks each day for any specific information. Please see events below in this newsletter so you can add events to your calendar! Remember there is NO SCHOOL Friday, October 18, and Monday, October 21. We hope you enjoy your Fall Break!
Happy Fall! Enjoy your weekend!
