Wynnton Wonders
October 8, 2022
Happy Weekend Wynnton Families,
It's hard to believe we are into October and the end of the 1st Quarter! We have had a very fun Color Week - Thanks to Ms. Ranew and teachers for planning fun color activities for our boys and girls.
Today is our first basketball game. Good luck Wynnton!! The cheerleaders will also be there to cheer on the team. Thank you Ms. Cash, Ms. Martin, and Ms. Felfeli for leading our teams! See information below if you can stop by.
Reminder - No School on Monday. Quarter 1 Report Cards posted in Infinite Campus on Friday, Oct. 14th.
We can't wait to see you all at the Fall Festival on Friday, October 21 from 5 - 7pm. Please see the picture for items to be donated. The festival is always one of the highlights of the year. We look forward to a fun evening of food and games. Volunteers will be needed to make the event successful and fun for all. Please click this link if you are available to volunteer.
Fall Festival envelopes for presales of wristbands and food tickets came home last Monday. Preorder envelopes are due Oct. 14. Please call the school if you need another envelope.
The WFAA is asking for donations of Christmas wrapping paper for the Secret Santa Shop at the beginning of December. Donations can be sent in with students. Our boys and girls LOVE shopping at the Secret Santa Shop and the wrapping of gifts is very special to them. Thank you!
Book Fair will be open Oct. 11 - 14! Please click this link for online ordering or send in $ with your child to visit the Book Fair.
STEAM Updates:
- If you have any Legos laying around - please donate them for building projects
- Start collecting colorful plastic bottle caps - we plan to make a large bottle cap mural for the Media Center
- Please contact Mrs. Kortney Hicks, our STEAM Coordinator/Parenting Coordinator if you have any community connections for the ARTS, or if you have ideas or suggestions at hicks.kortney.k@muscsogee.k12.ga.us
Please remember that 'hoodies' or sweaters/jackets with hoods are not permitted to be worn in the building. As you shop for cooler weather clothing, please look for a plain jacket or sweatshirt without a hood that can be worn inside the building. We will be putting in another order for WYNNTON black crew neck sweaters. Please send in $20 in an envelope with student name and size request.
Have a wonderful weekend!
