Activities
Monday-Thursday, March 3rd-6th:
- Believe/Achieve Read Across America Contest
Challenge your students to read at least 10 minutes each day. Ten minutes will equal 1 mile on the U.S. Map displayed on the library windows. E-mail the number of minutes your class reads each day to Mrs. Vaughan. Let's see who can read from the west coast to the east coast first!
- "Fox in Sox" Sock Drive
Bring new pairs of socks for children and adults to the library to be donated to a local homeless shelter
- Dr. Seuss Book Talks on V-Brick
Teachers will be talking about their favorite Dr. Seuss books on the V-Brick announcements
Wednesday, March 5th:
- Storybook Character Dress-Up Day
Start planning your outfit for storybook character dress up day. Students may come to school in clothes representing a favorite storybook character. Clothing and footwear must comply with district guidelines for dress code and be suitable for participation in P.E. and outdoor recess. No masks!!!
