Volume 17-18: Friday, March 23, 2018
Principally Speaking
Happy Friday! We wish for all our students and families to have a restful, safe spring vacation! We look forward to seeing the smiling, happy faces of our students on Monday, April 2nd. At that time we will hit the academics hard as we race to the end of the school year.
As always, I am honored and thankful to serve you and your students as the principal of Danville Community Middle School. Have a great break! See you April 2nd.
Marsha Webster
Principal
Are You Moving?
It is that time of year when we begin to turn our sights toward next year. To that end, we are asking that parents who know you will be moving out of the Danville district next year to please contact Mrs. Horan. This helps us to create class lists and also prepare records at the end of the year to forward to your child's new school. We hate to see you go but want to make your move as easy as possible so your child has a smooth transition.

Dodgeball Tourney 2018
It is a fun-filled night with lots of action. We will have music going between games and as usual the concession stand will be open.
Entry deadline is Friday, April 6th (after Spring Break) so please ask your son and/or
daughter if they plan on playing. Teams can have 7th & 8th grade players, but no co-ed teams are allowed. All teams can have no more than six players, but may list up to two coaches on their roster.
The kids usually get excited to plan their team uniforms, but please remember all team names need to be approved by Mrs. McGovern. Please do not order shirts unless the team name has been approved.
We typically need 20 teams to pull this off. In the past, we have always exceeded our goal, but right at the deadline - so talk it up so we can have another successful tourney!
Students may pick up forms upstairs in Mrs. McGovern's room.
