Principal's Post
Dear guardians and parents,
Students will be taking NWEA winter MAP in ELA and Math next week. Monday students will take ELA MAP and Wednesday students will take the Math assessment. NWEA MAP is used to assess student growth. This week students reviewed their Fall MAP scores to see where they were so they know where they need to go. MAP data is used to determine Raider Time lessons (extra practice or extension) and close gaps in achievement. For our 8th graders, these scores will be used when scheduling their high school courses. We have reiterated all week how important it is to show what you know. Please partner with us this weekend and mention it as well. I am including the link to NWEA's family toolkit. This resource has several short videos that explain NWEA MAP in case you want more information.

Tutoring will begin on February 8th. It will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:00. Please click on the Google Form if your child will be attending.

Lastly, our parent volunteers need assistance for the February 10th Talent Show. See below for the link if you can assist.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Warm Regards,
