Week 14: Biotechnology & Genetics

Mrs. Partin's Biology Class

Important Dates for the Week

oThis week, we have wrapped up our Molecular Genetics unit and continue on our learning journey within genetics. We will be using what we have learned about the process of protein synthesis to further understand how traits are determined by proteins. We will take a look at how scientists use this process in industry, the legal system, medicine and healthcare! Finally, we will be concluding the week understanding how these traits are passed on to sex cells within sexually reproducing organisms so that we can start investigating inheritance patterns! These are some of my FAVORITE lessons!

If you find yourself stumped along the way and needing extra help, please set an appointment for tutoring with me one morning!
