TJ Veterans Day Tribute

To our Veterans and Active-Duty Servicemen and Women:

Thank you for your service and for all you do and have done to protect the freedoms of all men, women, and children of the United States of America. We recognize your dedication to preserving our country through your time, energy, and love. Thank you does not demonstrate the extreme gratitude we have for your service—you are appreciated more than we can express.

Happy Veterans Day!

Social and Emotional Learning

This month, our schoolwide theme is skills for learning: listening, focusing attention, using self-talk to stay on-task, and being assertive when asking for help with a learning task. These skills will help students learn skills for learning.

Aux Sable 7th Grade Mentors

Our first-grade students will be meeting with the 7th Grade Mentors on Nov. 17th. The 7th-grade mentors will be joining first-grade students at recess.

Colder Weather & Recess

With the changing temperatures, please have your child prepared for recess by dressing appropriately.

Students will go outside for recess when the wind chill temperature is 20 degrees or above. Please have your child dressed appropriately, including such items as boots, gloves, and snow pants.

Arrival and Dismissal

We are asking for your cooperation and patience with arrival and dismissal to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families. If your child is a car rider, please place a nameplate in the front window of your car that is visible to staff. Your child's teacher can provide you with a nameplate or you can get one from the office.

If you and your child are walkers, we are asking everyone to cross using the designated crosswalks in the parking lot and in front of the school for your safety.

Please know the safety of our students is first and foremost, they will not be able to change their dismissal arrangements unless the office has been notified. Please contact the office prior to 3:00 with any dismissal changes.

Thank you to everyone for your cooperation!

Student Laptops

Please have your child charge their computer nightly and bring their charger to school with them daily. Also, all students and parents/guardians are required to complete the District 202 Acceptable Use Policy each year. Please click on the link below:
