Delta County Schools & Delta Family Center Restart Plan

Hello Delta Family Center Families!

We are very excited to start another year of school here at Delta Family Center. All of our programs, including the BELA Preschool, Backpack Program and Family Resource Center, are gearing up to best serve all families in Delta County.

Delta County School District's Restart Plan was released August 6, 2020 and is viewable through the link above or by visiting www.deltaschools.com. Delta Family Center is implementing a variety of precautions to promote the health and safety of our students and families. We take this commitment very seriously and want to share a few additional precautions that BELA Preschool will be doing in addition to the School District's plan. Please click on the icon below to review all preschool specific adjustments that will take effect this year. If you have questions or concerns regarding any of the Restart Plan, please contact us at (970)874-9517.

We are so happy to see you all soon! We will continue to work towards wonderful learning opportunities for your child as we keep every family's health and safety at the heart of all we do. During this time of change and adjustment, procedures will look different. We rely on your cooperation and flexibility to help bring every educational opportunity possible to your family. These procedures may change based on recommendations from the local health department and as conditions warrant. We look forward to a great start to our 2020-2021 school year. See you soon!

Backpack Program Update

Greetings from the Backpack Program! We have missed seeing you all and hope you had a wonderful summer full of playing & reading.

We are excited to announce that our Backpack Factory will soon have a new home! We will still be housed here in Delta within the Delta Family Center, but will be relocating to the north end of the building, with an outside entrance next to A Kidz Clinic and diagonal from Cleland Park.

This move provides us a chance to better serve our families by having an exterior entrance for easy exchanges and a wonderful new space. However, this means that we will be postponing our first boxes going out for this school year. As remodeling and construction are completed and we are able to settle in, we will let you know when exchanges are set to resume.

We can't wait to start exchanging boxes again soon! Thank you for your patience and keep talking, reading and PLAYING everyday!
