PROPOSAL
Mission
"The mission of Patriot PAWS is to train and provide service dogs of the highest quality at no cost to disabled American veterans and others with mobile disabilities and PTS in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence. Patriot PAWS intends to build partnerships with state and community organizations to help develop and support this goal." (patriot paws)
Veterans receive service dogs that have received high quality training at no cost to help with physical and emotional disabilities. An example would be if a vet had an back injury and had trouble doing daily tasks s/he could try to apply for a service dog based on qualifications. If approved s/he would have a dog already approved by Patriot paws based on what qualifications s/he had.
BACKGROUND
Patriot PAWS
Why important?
ACTION PLAN AND RATIONALE
Rationale
Patriot PAWS trains and provides service dogs of the highest quality at no cost to disabled American veterans and others with mobile disabilities and PTS in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence. Training the dogs takes lots of time, money, and patients. Giving away the dogs for free puts us down financially. The only thing that keeps us going is donations.
Action plan
Patriot PAWS will use the money to help train and get supplies for the dogs. Every dollar counts. Training the dogs takes lots of time and money. When you have a lot of dogs it adds up fast. When a dog is selected to go home with a vet, the dog is worth about $30,000.00. That's a lot of $!
analysis
Theoretical
Sees society as a complex system whose parts work together to promote solidarity and stability. Parts of society (such as businesses, families, and governments) work together in a systematic way that is usually good for the whole. Each part helps to maintain the balance that is needed for the system to operate smoothly. (study.com)
Political
Believe in personal responsibility, limited government, free markets, individual liberty, traditional american values, and a strong national defense. Believe the role of government should be to provide people the freedom necessary to pursue their own goals. Conservative policies generally emphasize empowerment of the individual to solve problems. (Conservative vs. Liberal Beliefs)
