Principal's Message
Hello Heritage Families and Community,
This week we finished State testing! It was great to see the strong effort given by our 10th and 11th-grade students.
We have been up to so much! Logan planned a trip to Western Washington University as a project and was able to bring nine other students with him, it was such a delight to see their smiles when they returned. We had nine of our other students looking for the right opportunity to go to the Schack Art Center to learn how to start glass blowing - you could see them come back with a fire for learning and an understanding of what is possible through our curriculum. Lastly, we cut in a garden as we look to embark on our student-run sustainable garden.
Learning and growing together in ways that support community-centered learning is our goal every day. Our students are brilliant and they continue to share their gifts with us.
Respectfully,
Nathan D. Plummer Ed.D
Proud Principal

Make-Up Testing
Every year the State of Washington requires our students to take certain assessments.
This is an important measure for our students and our school. It is important that students get a good night's rest and a healthy breakfast on these days. Please have your student(s) bring their fully charged Chromebook and charger with them to school. Your student has the opportunity to keep their Chromebook in their advisory class as well so it is ready to go.
All Sophomores and Juniors that did not take the test will be able to make-up on the following days:
Monday, May 15, 2023
Wednesday, May 17, 2023
Friday, May 19, 2023
Your support in making sure students are prepared to give their best is greatly appreciated.
Heritage Staff!
