Much Ado About Nothing!

Directed by: William Shakespeare

Lights, Camera, Action!

In this picture we can see another major event that happens, two people with very similar personalities meet and fall in love, with a little of "motivation." Beatrice and Benedick, at first hate each other, but after being tricked into thinking they are in love with each other from their friends, quickly fall in love and embrace each other flaws that were annoying. Their witty, smart, and quirky personalities make them the perfect match for each other.

Plot, Themes, and More!

There are two events in which Claudio seems to be deceived by Hero. The real culprit behind both of these events is Don John , an illegitimate brother of Don Pedro who strongly dislikes his brother and is seen as generally a pessimist. He loves to incite drama and chaos and never wants to see others happy. Don John in separate cases makes Hero appear to be unfaithful and lustful. In the first case, Don John tries to make it out to Claudio that Don Pedro is trying to woo Hero for himself, and in the second case Don John tells Claudio that he has seen Hero with another man. Both plots against the young love fail and they end up getting married.

Theme, Theme, Theme!!!

I chose the song "Jealous" by Nick Jonas. I chose this song for a multitude of reasons, including the fact the Claudio gets very jealous over Hero. "I don't like the way he's looking at you." When Claudio thinks that Don Pedro is trying to be with Hero, He gets so jealous of the fact that they're together that he leaves the room. "It's my right to be hellish, I still get jealous" this quote from the song, in my opinion, describes Don John perfectly because it seems as though he is very jealous of Don Pedro and Claudio and causes hell between anything that makes them happy and tries to corrupt everyone's relationship.
