On Monday, Mr. Hernandez, an Army Veteran, spoke to our Pre-K-8th grade classes about what Veterans Day is, why we celebrate it, what the different branches of the military are, and how these branches continue to fight for our freedoms each day. The students made cards and presented them to him after the presentations. Thank you Mr. Hernandez for your sevice to our country and for your time sharing your experiences with our students.
Thanksgiving Feast preparations are underway. Please return the slip with the $3.00 for the Thanksgiving feast to your child's teacher on or before Wednesday, November 20. If you would like to volunteer on this special day, please call Maria Tellez in the main office for more details.
Parent/teacher conference slips will be sent home on Friday, November 22 with the scheduled time for your conference. Please reach out to your childs teacher if you have any questions or concerns about scheduling conferences.
