Alliteration

The repetition of beginning consonant sounds

Example

You don't have to listen to the whole song
Peter Piper (Tongue Twister Song) A Funny Song by Bryant Oden
This song is completely composed of alliteration because it constantly uses words that start with a "p" sound.

Complexity

A poem that is rich in meaning but difficult to interpret

Example

When we first saw this poem we had trouble figuring out what it meant but after we talked about it in class, we all understood better of what it meant.
