Welcome High School Science Students:
A new Science database is now available for you to use in school or at home (access code: RHSDL). Find information on topics such as earth science and life science, space, math, and technology.

Homepage
You'll find 5 spotlighted topics in the image carousel and featured categories (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math, etc.) that contain multiple topics to choose from. A Featured Video and Featured News is on the right.
Browse Topics
Click the Browse Topics tab to find a list of the Research Topic Pages. Use the dropdown menu to narrow by category.
Maps
Select the Maps tab to find maps related to the content areas. Many of the maps are interactive; you can select time periods for certain data to display.

Search & Search Assist
Single search box is easy to use. Search Assist will help you find other keywords related to your topic. Narrow your search by content option using the options above the search box or More dropdown menu.
Tools & Annotations
Bookmark, Download, Share, Citation tools, Email, Print, Translate, and Save. New options include highlighting and sticky notes.
Citation & URL
Copy and paste the MLA formatting citation into your Noodletools account. Copy the URL for quick access.
Advanced Search
Combine search criteria to narrow your results. Select from options that include Boolean Search operators, publication title, date, company name, or person name- to name a few options.
ReadSpeaker
At the beginning of each document, you will find a Listen button. You have the option of listening to all or part of the document- just highlight what you would like to hear.

- Advanced Search – “Cell Phones” AND “Mobile Phones” (For articles with both terms)
- Document Type – Select “Experiment Activity” And conduct an empty search to see Experiments
