Outstanding Concert!!

Dear Parents

First, I want to say how proud I am of the students' performance last week. I was extremely happy with all parts of the concert. The students had a great after-school rehearsal the previous Thursday. They had a laser focus. That allowed us to get everything done early! The students carried that over to the concert. I was also very proud of the concert etiquette.

Three of the four pieces on that concert were some of the most advanced pieces ever played by our sixth grade bands at a first concert. More importantly, they were pieces of the highest caliber. Each piece presented various changes for the students. The students rose to the occasion each time.

I am very excited to present our next concert to you in March (Music in our Schools Month).

This newsletter will be short. As always, please contact me with any questions, concerns

Sincerely

Rob Buckley

ALL INSTRUMENTS GO HOME FRIDAY FOR BREAK

This includes instruments kept at school because of a second instrument at home. The band rooms have routine maintenance done during long breaks and doors are often unlocked for several days.
