3rd Trimester Placements: In-Person vs. Remote

As we enter the start of the 3rd trimester, it is crucial that families commit to either In-Person or Remote learning. Having your child attend in-person some days & remote on others doesn't allow for our teachers to effectively plan and provide the very best instruction possible.

If you opted for In-Person, please make every effort to send your child each day (Tues-Friday).

If you opted for Remote, please make every effort to support your child by reminding them to log on at their scheduled time.

NEW- Daily Student Screener (Google Form)

Please remember that for our In-Person students (A & B), parents need to complete the health screener every day. We monitor the responses each day to ensure your child is safe. If your child has a symptom included on the screener, please indicate and connect with us at 630-588-5400 to discuss next steps.

A students: please complete it by 8:30 am (Tues-Fridays)

B students: please complete it by 1:00 pm (Tues-Fridays)

Click here to access directions for completing the health screener.

Next Material Pick Up: Thursday, March 18th

Our next material pick-up is scheduled for Thursday, March 18th from 4-6 pm for our remote-only students. Please use the back parking lot and someone will assist you- THANK YOU!

Continue Safety Practices at CSS

Thank you Carol Stream Families as we look at our metrics they continue to trend down. It’s important as a community that we continue to work together to lower the transmission rates. Please remember to follow the CDC guidelines regarding mitigation strategies. Dr. Hill recently shared the updated guidance in his enews.

As the weather warms we often have an increased number of walkers which may make it more challenging to keep 6 foot of distance. Therefore it’s important that even while outdoors during times such as arrival or dismissal we all wear our face mask. Your child’s health & safety is our first priority, so we are asking for your continued support by making sure you are wearing a face mask as well as practicing social distancing while on school grounds both indoors and outdoors.

Read Across America

This week marks the national Read Across America event. Please see the flyer to the left for our daily activities to promote reading for our students.
