If you haven’t engaged in anti-racism work in the past, here are some great books, videos, podcasts, movies and articles to start with to help raise anti-racist youth in our communities. Feel free to circulate this document on social media and with your friends, family, and colleagues.
Here are a few podcasts to start with. See button below for comprehensive list:
Free or Low Cost Family Events in the Tri-County Area
It's Time for Summer Fun!
Here's a weekly listing of some regular fun events for families. To check for local events in your neighborhood, contact your local library and this site for the farmers market nearest you. Not all libraries, events or farmers markets in the tri-county area are listed here, only those that submitted events to the Lansing Family Fun Website, so check your home town/city for more fun activities. Be sure to check if an event is still happening due to COVID-19 if you find information on the internet.
