Recognizing Positive Behavior - The Power of Attention means "What we focus on we get more of"

Cadott Elementary Staff recognizes the importance to applaud students when they display positive character traits. This week we would like to recognize:

Preston - Mrs Danielson recognized Preston for positive behavior. Preston is a hard working student. He puts forth great effort to do his best. He is pleasant and respectful towards adults and peers.

Ridley, Kristina, Danielle, Kennedy, Airiana & Michael - Mrs. Manier recognized Ridley, Kristina, Danielle, Kennedy, Michael, and Airiana for positive behavior. Ridley, Kristina, Danielle, Kennedy, Michael, and Airiana represented our school in a positive manner when they participated as readers for our Veterans Day program. They handled themselves with maturity and were articulate in their presentations.

Andy- Mr. Peters recognized Andy for positive behavior. Andy helped the band director put instruments away after rehearsal, without being asked

Caysen - Mrs. Weiss recognized Caysen for positive behavior. The day after Caysen was absent, he came into class and set to work right away on the classwork he missed. He was so focused and determined to get it all completed that he didn't notice anything else.

Braelyn- Mrs. Weiss recognized Braelyn for positive behavior. Braelyn is helpful to the hornet time small group members and me by getting out the work to do for everyone so we can get started right away. She has a positive attitude and is striving to improve her reading.

Iszybelle, Josie, Lilliana - Mrs. Mackie recognized Iszybelle, Josie, and Lilliana for positive behavior. The girls helped read to a younger student when the teacher was unexpectedly delayed to attend to an injury at recess.

Henry - Mrs. Matherne recognized Henry for his social awareness. He helps out without being asked, takes care of upset classmates, and is polite to others.

Tessa - Mrs. Drake recognized Tessa for making significant changes in her behavior in very positive ways. She has made conscious efforts to do better on her assignments, focus on her responsibilities in class by staying on task, and helping to remind others of class rules.

Mary Ann - Mrs. Drake recognized Mary Ann for challenging herself academically and seeking out new ways to grow. She has joined multiple clubs in which she plays an active role and takes on the responsibilities of an upstanding member.

Kayden - Mrs. Matherne recognized Kaden for his optimistic thinking. Kaden is always willing to try new things, get extra help, and work very hard when he is struggling.

Archer - Mrs. Matherne recognized Archer for positive behavior. Archer has been a great addition to our classroom family. His relationship skills and optimistic thinking have acted as a magnet to other students.

Oliver - Mrs. Hanson recognized Oliver for being a bucket filler and doing his job. He has been a kind friend to our classroom family.

Kaitlyn- Mrs. Hanson recognized Kaitlyn for being a bucket filler. She works hard to do her job. She is a kind friend to her classroom family.

Awesome job choosing kind behavior and going above and beyond.

- Mrs. Goettl and Mr. Spaeth

Youth Wrestling

Families,

Wrestling is nearing its start and I would like to make sure we are ready for it. I will be hosting an informational meeting for parents at 6:00 P.M., on December 5th , at the High School Auditorium. This meeting is for anyone, but I’d strongly encourage those who are new to our Cadott wrestling club to attend. Our first practice is under a month away and will be held on Monday, December 9th . If you have questions that you feel need to be answered prior to our December 5th meeting you are more than welcome to send me an email. If your child has not received the sign up forms you can let me know via email and I’ll get one in his/her backpack to go home. Otherwise you can print them out (see attachments) and send them to school with your child. Please have your USAA Wrestling Card purchased prior to our first practice. If you are uncertain if your child will like practice you are more than welcome to come and see what it’s all about, prior to fully committing.
