Early Dismissal
Note from Nurse Caldwell
Parents if your student has any medications in the health room, please make sure to pick them up by 12:00 PM Friday, June 18th. Any medications not picked up will be destroyed after that date.
Additionally, if your student has any medical condition listed in power school that may require the assistance of the nurse or special restrictions while at school, please check your students backpack for a packet from Nurse Caldwell. The forms enclosed should be completed over the summer by your student's physician (and parent) and returned to your school nurse at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year.

#BeehindTheMask Project
This year has brought about a new challenge in our Junior Jacket Community. With masks, visitor restrictions, and the inability to meet in large groups as a school community, it has been difficult to get to know one another. We wanted to continue building our sense of community and bring everyone together like the amazing family we are. So we decided to do a little project called "Bee-hind the Mask".
Each week, from now until the end of the school year, we will spotlight several staff members, using a picture and their answers to a fun survey we sent out for everyone to complete. Hopefully we will all be able to be together in person again soon, but until then, please enjoy getting to know our Junior Jacket Staff a little bit better!
This week we are featuring Adrienne Shipp (2nd Grade Teacher), Angela Stulginsky (Occupational Therapist), and Michelle Walker (Technology Teacher).

Attendance Reminder
If your student is going to be absent, please email their teacher and copy the attendance clerk, Erin Swetta at swettae@fortmillschools.org. Included in the note should be your student’s first and last name and the reason for their absence. If the absence is related to an illness, please also copy Nurse Caldwell at caldwellc@fortmillschools.org. If your student is seen by a doctor, please send in the doctor’s excuse with your student or email them directly to Ms. Swetta. Thank you for helping us keep up to date and accurate records.
Information from our School Nurse
If there is ANY household member or person that you or your family is in close contact with that has tested positive for Covid, please make sure to notify the school nurse at caldwellc@fortmillschools.org or 803-548-8291.
