Principal's Message

Thanks to your amazing support of our fall fundraiser we are able to add additional resources to our Makerspace and support supplemental student activities at school. To celebrate that students filled the Code Slip Tank with Code of Conduct slips we had a dance party, snack and special Camp Kindness story on Friday, October 28th. Always something happening at Woodland!


While we use some of those funds to purchase items for the Makerspace, there are additional items we can use that don't cost a thing. If you have old craft items or building toys you no longer need, we will gladly accept them.


Items we can use include:


  • Empty toilet tissue or paper towel rolls
  • Wrapping paper
  • Beads and buttons
  • Ribbon
  • Tongue depressors
  • Stickers
  • Lincoln logs
  • Any other craft item you are looking to find a new home for

PEAT (Parent Educational Advisory Team)

PEAT (Parent Educational Advisory Team)

Research shows a positive correlation to student achievement when parents are involved with their child’s learning and development. Parents are invited to come and discuss our instructional curriculum, learn more about school and district initiatives and share strategies for supporting your child’s educational growth at home.


We will have two scheduled meetings this year with other sessions being available based on parent requests. The format allows for an open discussion with questions and input encouraged. Our fall meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 15th from 5:00-6:00 pm in the Woodland Media Center.


Bring your questions and topics for discussion. One area I will share information on, are the different levels of support we provide students.
