"To an Unstoppable New Beginning"
Welcome to the Bammel Middle School and the 2019-2020 school year! We have worked hard all summer to prepare for an UNSTOPPABLE new beginning! Our campus has changed, and we are confident it is for the better. When you visit our campus, you will be greeted by new staff members who are committed to vision of BMS.
We are committed to rewriting our narrative. Honestly speaking, our campus has a negative reputation in the community. We are determined to change what the community thinks and says about us. Our decision to rewrite our narrative was motivated by our tremendous gains in scholar performance last school year. We saw increases in almost all content areas and grade levels. Some were double digit gains! Given this, we know our scholars can perform at the high levels AND deserve the best learning experience possible.
This year, we are #UNSTOPPABLE! With the dedication and commitment of our school community (students, parents, and teachers), we are destined for greatness!
Please help us scream our #UNSTOPPABLE theme by:
- Being UNSTOPPABLE in making sure your scholar reports to school on-time every day!
- Being UNSTOPPABLE in making sure your scholar adheres to the dress code!
- Being UNSTOPPABLE in making sure your scholar has the necessary supplies!
- Being UNSTOPPABLE in making sure your scholar completes and submits his/her homework!
- Being UNSTOPPABLE in making sure your scholar reads for at least 30 minutes each night!
- Being UNSTOPPABLE in attending all campus events (academic and extracurricular)!
- Being UNSTOPPABLE in getting involved (PTO, volunteering, etc.)!
- Being UNSTOPPABLE in communicating how we can better serve your scholar!
We will be sending home the Student/Teacher/Parent/Administrator Compact in the coming days. The 1st period class that returns 100% of the forms first will receive a tasty reward!
This is our year to shine and we look forward to partnering with you throughout the school year! Remember, we are stronger together... our scholars needed US!
Please view the video below of the song that was an inspiration for our #UNSTOPPABLE theme!
Remember, "We are BMS... Brave. Motivated. Successful. AND We are #UNSTOPPABLE!"

We would like to thank all of our parents for your patience during our first week of school! Getting the year started can be challenging, but your support and cooperation made it so much better. Thank you for giving us time to work out the kinks in our system. We appreciate you!
