The frontal and temporal lobes are the most commonly affected parts of the brain.
What are the symptoms of a concussion?
The symptoms can include nausea, irritability, balance problems, and memory problems. Sometimes when people get concussions, they get skull fractures and hemorrhaging.
Therapies and Treatments
- Avoid additional head trauma
- Get lots of rest
- Avoid alcohol
- If you need to, take medication
Long Term Effects and Prognosis
There can be temporary or long term damage. It can take months or years for a concussion to heal.
