Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order calling for schools to remain closed in Texas through the end of the school year. All Galveston ISD campuses and facilities will be closed to campus-based learning and all extracurricular activities and school events are canceled during this period. Online learning and curbside meal service will continue.
