Campus Rules
- We've seen an uptick in horseplay among students, including "dunking." Unfortunately, this creates a safety concern and is a violation of the Student Code of Conduct. After the first warning, students will be assigned lunch detentions and/or other consequences for continued incidents.
- The Healthy Student program has been placed on a brief pause as we change school nurses assigned to our school. As our new nurse, Ms. Andrews, settles in, we will restart the program in November. Thank you for your understanding.
- A reminder to families using the PM car line that our school's end time is 2:30 PM. Students must be picked up by 3 PM, when our staff work day ends. Unfortunately, we are seeing many days over the past three weeks when 20+ students are waiting for rides.
- For families unable to arrange a ride prior to 3 PM, we offer our after care program which offers academic tutoring, snacks, and STEM enrichment opportunities. We can also add your student to the bus roster for transportation to a hub location.
ABC Program Launch
The Assist-Believe-Care Program offers assistance to families with one or more school-aged children.

Magnet Program Attendance Requirements Explained
Students enrolled in a magnet program must demonstrate a pattern of consistent attendance. Students who miss more than 5% of their school days may be recommended for revocation of their school choice assignment. If your student must miss school for any reason, please reach out to our school office for information about obtaining excused absence status and to review their overall attendance status.
Students whose attendance, grades, behavior or test score data indicate a reason for concern will receive notification letters during the week of 10/16 - 10/20, and will work with school staff to develop an improvement plan for Quarter 2.
Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) - Grades 8-10
The PSAT 8/9 assessment will help your child prepare for the future. It helps establish a baseline for students as they enter high school and begin preparing for college and career readiness. By taking the PSAT 8/9, your child will learn which skills he or she needs to work on for continued success when preparing for high school and ultimately college. In addition, the PSAT 8/9 will identify areas where your child excels (and may want to consider taking higher-level courses), as well as areas he or she should focus to improve academically.
It also provides students with better access to data and personalized study through the online College Board and Khan Academy, and offers a readiness baseline for the SAT. It allows online access to explore careers, majors, and schools which may align with your child’s personal interest, and provides planning tips and financial aid information.
Historically, students who take the PSAT score higher on the SAT, on average, than those who do not take the test. Please note that the PSAT 8/9 scores are not sent to colleges.
All 10th-grade students are invited to sit for the PSAT/NMSQT, the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, which is an important assessment for college preparation.
Notice of Public Meetings
On February 7, 2023, the School Board approved a lease agreement with Vertex Development, LLC to place a cell tower on the Angeline Academy of Innovation campus. This cell tower will improve cell service not only on the campus but for the surrounding area as well. Vertex is working through the cell tower approval process with Pasco County.
There are two upcoming public hearings regarding the tower. The first is with the Planning Commission on September 21, 2023 at 1:30 PM. The second public hearing is with the Board of County Commissioners on October 24, 2023. Both meetings are scheduled to be held at the West Pasco Government Center Boardroom in New Port Richey. If you have questions, comments or would like additional information please contact Chris Williams, Director of Planning, at cwilliam@pasco.k12.fl.us, or (813) 794-7970.
Yearbook Sales - Buy Now!
Our first ever yearbook is on sale! Order your copy online using the link below. The yearbook staff is also selling business ads, which are a great way to support their work and help keep the yearbook costs lower.
After surveying local middle schools, we are not planning to sell ads for individual students until we have a senior class.
Questions about yearbooks may be directed to our yearbook sponsor, Mrs. Swain.
5 Ways to Vet Your Kids' Friends
I stood in our kitchen, completely frozen. Concern overcame me as my son's words hit me about an incident earlier that day. It was a harsh reality check—he was being mocked by a classmate for not looking at pornography on somebody’s phone. I realized I didn't know my son's friend as well as I thought I did. As parents, we want to ensure that our children surround themselves with positive influences who support their growth and well-being. The company our kids keep can significantly impact their behavior, attitudes, and choices. Here are 5 ways to ensure your kids’ friends are the influences that help your child grow, not get off track.
Huddle up with your kids and ask, “What impact do you think your friends will have on you?”
