African American History in Arkansas
The Encyclopedia of Arkansas has excellent resources available for Black History Month that might be useful for exploring African American History in Arkansas. There is also a detailed article about the desegregation of Central High School.

Dumplin' by Julie Murphy
One of the Hornet Readers books this year is Dumplin' by Julie Murphy, which has recently been released on Netflix as a movie starring Jennifer Aniston. A companion novel, Puddin', was recently published and both books are available to be checked out at your BHS Library.

Fun with Photofunia
Photofunia is a photo editing tool that has cool text effects, making it easy to create animated images quickly. Try combining it with Bitmoji for a fun effect!
Virtual Letter Board
Check out this site to make a virtual letter board. This would be great to use for clues in a digital breakout or just for fun!
Classroom Screen
Use Classroom Screen to create an interactive screen complete with a timer, QR code creator, drawing tablet, or other tools.

Deck Toys
Create interactive lessons using Deck Toys. Check out the Quick Start Guide for help getting started, or explore the gallery to find examples. There is also a preview for teachers to illustrate the types of questions and interaction that Deck Toys will do.
Padlet
If you haven't tried Padlet lately, you might want to give it another look. Although they do limit the number of boards you can create, you can always delete boards. The options to post to Padlet now include a video, drawing, picture, link, and voice recording. It's a great option for a quick formative assessment!
