Meet our Second Grade Team
Our Second Grade Teachers are AMAZING They are kind and caring strive for academic excellence. They believe in driving our students to be their best and to try their best at all they do.
Our second grade team provides authentic learning experiences through WIN time and they do their best to make sure that every child reaches their full potential.
Centers, learning games, projects and work stations are present in the daily activities of our second grade students. Teachers in this grade take the time to allow our learners to explore and connect with content while teaching them what being a student looks like. Preparation is the key ingredient to the success of our students and our second grade teachers do not settle for anything less than the best.
Our goal in 2nd grade is to continue to keep the passion that our students have driven in their academic studies as they make their way into 3rd grade.

Safety Updates
A few Reminders:
Please continue to check and update all parent contact information in Powerschool. This is a critical tool for us to be able to contact you in an emergency.
Please check all emergency contacts. A student will not be released to anyone outside of the list.
If you have updated custodial documents, please make sure we have a copy.
Transportation Safety:
In an effort to continue to make safety our top priority we will ask that you have a responsible adult to receive your child during afternoon drop off. If no one is there to receive the child then we will try to make contact with you by phone. If there is still no contact and no one shows up to the bus stop then we will bring your child back to Heritage North Elementary where you will need to pick them up.
