Safety Services Task Force Committee

In an effort to further enhance safety across the North Little Rock School District, Dr. Gregory J. Pilewski, the Superintendent of the North Little Rock School District, and Patrick Thessing, Chief of Police for the City of North Little Rock, have developed a School Safety Task Force Committee, made up of parents, mental health professionals, medical practitioners, and law enforcement leaders.

District Testing Calendar

The Curriculum Innovation and Design Department has created a District Testing Calendar to help our North Little Rock School District families better understand the different tests that will be given to students across the District. The calendar is organized by grade level and provides information on the type of tests given, its purposes, and when students will be taking them.

Feel free to save this calendar and encourage your student to do their best.

High School Students Earn Top Academic Honors

Congratulations to the 44 students from NLRHS and the COE identified as Advanced Placement (AP) Scholars following the spring exams! These students scored 3 or above on 3 or more AP exams.

Twenty-eight of those students graduated in the Class of 2022.

We caught up with the 16 students who are still in the district, and they tell us on what exams they scored a 3 or better, and the district's Gifted Education Coordinator provides information on AP Scholars and the benefits of enrolling in AP courses.

You can read more at this link, including the variety of AP courses available for our students,
