Serenity Garden Construction

When Mr. Zappala retired as head counselor from MEA, he didn't retire from caring about our students and school! He wanted to donate and create a peaceful garden space where students could relax and feel uplifted by nature. His vision turned into designing, planning, and then "digging in."


As you can see below, Mr. Zappala and his crew spent many days over several months working away on the Serenity Garden.
