Neuropathy

What it is

“A nerve is a cable of fibers that carries electrochemical impulses to and from the brain or spinal cord to a specific point in the body. Neuropathy occurs when a part of the nerve is damaged” (Leiken 895).

Symptoms

Neuropathy causes include weakness, numbness, pain, and tingling in hands or feet, which might spread upward into your legs and arms (“Peripheral”).

Coping Signs

Treatment
