Estacada Reopening Plan Update
An Updated Timeline and More Information
Estacada School District Families,
Over the summer our district leadership has been working diligently to create a back to school plan that balances the needs and priorities of our staff and community with state requirements and public health recommendations. The Estacada School District has been a state leader in providing learning opportunities and services for students during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will strive to continue this level of service, and want to give all district families timely updates to allow them to plan appropriately for fall.
Here is what you can expect from our district in the coming days:
On July 22nd we will release our Back-To-School plan, building-by-building blueprints, a 2020-2021 school calendar, and an extensive FAQ that answers many of the questions you submitted during our June Back-To-School Survey.
On July 23rd we will host a Facebook Live Q&A session at 3:30 pm to answer your back-to-school questions and gather additional feedback to ensure that we have the best transition possible.
These dates are different than originally communicated. In the interest of full transparency it is important that we update you with this new timeline. Our district has created a robust back-to-school plan based off of your feedback that is now contingent upon news from our state governor's office. It is important that we communicate the most updated and accurate information to you, and we have had to update our timeline accordingly. We look forward to reopening this dialogue with you on July 22nd, and want to thank you for your patience, flexibility, and support as we work to provide a quality educational experience for your students under rapidly evolving circumstances.
