WBMS Friday Notes
August 14th-18th
Reflections from Ms. Perkins
It was another great week at Webb Bridge Middle School! This week we rolled out “The Webb Way” Positive Behavior Intervention System (P.B.I.S.) with our students. It is our way to focus and reward good behavior. The video we used to introduce the topic is included in this week’s Friday Notes. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did while creating it. Next week we will begin pulling names and rewarding our Webb Way Wednesday Winners (say that fast twenty times!) Thank you to those 7th and 8th grade parents who participated in our Parent University and/or our Curriculum Night this week. We look forward to hosting these events again soon for our 6th grade parents. We are also looking forward to The Great American Solar Eclipse next week. Enjoy your weekend!

**We are keeping this week's Tech Tips the same because these
are some of the most common solutions to many problems. **
Install Updates Regularly - Beginning This Weekend!
Here is a video to show you how to install your updates: Surface Video
If you prefer written directions you can get those here.
"My Surface Won't Charge""
One of our Device Expectations is for your device to be fully charged everyday you come to school. But what happens when it won't charge? Follow the troubleshooting directions below to walk you through solving this issue.
Shut down the tablet completely. Start Menu - Power - Shut Down. Do not press the power button at the top - it will only put the tablet to sleep. Try a different outlet at home when charging - be sure to use the power brick given to you at deployment. Install updates if possible.
The screen should go completely black. Let it charge for 2 hours minimum. Make sure the charger is completely connected to the Surface.
Try all these steps before bringing to the Media Center.
