Qualification is based on family size and income, and enrollment is confidential. All children in households receiving benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) can get free meals regardless of income, and students from households that meet federal income guidelines are eligible to receive free or reduced-price meals.
MVR-III asks ALL families complete the meal application to ensure continued funding to support ALL students in our district. The meal application impacts school funding, school meals, class size reduction, SAT/ACT discounted fees for academic tests, provides funding for internet services, and discounts on college application fees.
How to Apply?
The meal application may be found in your child(ren)'s Annual Student Information Update. You may get a paper copy of the meal application from any school office or call the Food Service Department at (636)271-1425 for assistance.
