Please join us in learning about youth suicide prevention; the second leading cause of death amongst adolescents (CDC). This presentation is applicable to all parents and guardians within the MHRD and parents/guardians of incoming ninth grade students.

Kristen Cobo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Supervisor. Ms. Cobo received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University with a specialty in Children and Families She has over 14 years’ experience in working with high risk children, adolescents and their families in the areas of crisis intervention, trauma focused treatment, clinical supervision and program oversight. Ms. Cobo spent 6 years working in an inpatient hospital, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for children and adolescents in crisis. This is her 8th year with Effective School Solutions and her 3rd year as Regional Director.
