We have some great prizes for our PBIS drawing this month! Students will have a chance to win a set of Apple Air Pods or a JBL Flip Bluetooth Speaker, courtesy of our Middle School PBIS Committee. PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention and Support. Students must earn 5 Tommie Tickets to be eligible for the drawing. Our students have been doing a great job being safe, respectful and responsible. Keep up the good work!
Holiday Spirit Week
The entire school district is embracing the holiday season. Students and staff are encouraged to participate in our first annual Holiday Spirit Week. Spirit week will start on December 14th and conclude on December 18th. Let's all get together and spread some "socially distant" holiday cheer! Please check out our spirit week activities listed below.
Monthly Character Trait
December’s character trait is LEADERSHIP. We will be focusing on this word throughout the month of December. January's character trait is ACCEPTANCE.
Friendship Trails- A Local Opportunity to Enjoy Nature
Have you heard about the new proposed local trail system called the Sarah B. Foulke Friendship Trails? This network of trails will be located in Northern Saratoga County and will include a variety of outdoor activities and experiences. The trail system will be located right in our backyards– between Routes 9 and 9N, roughly a triangle between Saratoga Springs, the Village of Corinth, and the Village of South Glens Falls.
Our district understands the importance of providing free, healthy activities for our students, especially during the challenging times we are facing with the global pandemic. This is a wonderful opportunity for our CCS families and we cannot emphasize enough how important being outdoors and exercising is for both our physical and mental health.
We would love for you to share your input so that we can make sure these trails fit the wants and needs of our community. The creators of the trails are currently gathering information from local community members to better the Friendship Trail experience. We are confident that many of our Corinth families will take advantage of these trails, so please take a moment to fill out their quick survey: Friendship Trail Survey.

Virtual Snow Days
The school district is going to participate in the NYSED pilot program this year, transitioning to remote instruction during “snow days.” Each school will have a set schedule for students to follow on days when the buildings are closed due to inclimate weather. The specific schedule that students need to follow during those days will be communicated from each of the buildings.
How Virtual Snow Days Will Work in the Middle School
Students will be asked to log into 1st period. Teachers will take attendance, review the entire schedule and remind students where their assignments will be posted.
Students will have the option to complete their coursework during the class period they are scheduled to attend or may elect to complete their assignments at an alternative time during the day.
Please review the virtual/snow day schedule:
Period 1 8:30-9:00 Period 2 9:10-9:40 Period 3 9:50-10:20 Period 4 10:30-11:00 Period 5 12:00-12:30 Period 6(Lunch) 12:40-1:10 Period 7 1:20-1:50 Period 8 2:00-2:30
