On October 26th, Miss Wenzell's class was able to tour Sliman's to learn about the automotive industry! During this time, our students were able to see jobs in all of the Sliman's departments, they were each interviewed by staff, and they were provided with lunch!

A small group of students attended LCCC with Mrs. Kowalsick, Ms. Santos, and Mrs. Kemppainen on October 28th to take a campus tour and to meet with their Office of Accessibility Services.

In November, Mrs. Kowalsick began collaboration with Ms. Maiorca on the Comet Closet! We have been pulling students on Tuesday/Thursday afternoons to take inventory of donated Amherst materials.

Mrs. Kowalsick is partnering with Mr. Rubinski to begin creating commercials for the Comet Creations including the Coffee Cart and the Comet Cafe! Be on the lookout!

French Department

The French 2 class has recently experienced the French culture in a "delicious" way. Students made "crêpes" at home and brought them to school to share with their classmates (the recipe and the dessert). While enjoying this staple of "cuisine française", they watched clips of the movie "Ratatouille" in French, to complete their French gastronomic experience by learning the French chef's vocabulary.
