Author Highlight: Grace Lin!

Sunday May 23 from 4P.M. to 5P.M.
Book discussion & hangout for kids ages 8-11. We'll be reading titles that center LGBTQ+ identities and experiences. Pick up a copy of our The Deep and Dark Blue by Niki Smith at the front desk. This meeting will be indoors while the library is closed; masks required!

Hands-on Pollinator Workshop for Kids
May 17 from 4:30P.M. to 5:15P.M.
Join friends from the Hampden Hampshire Conservation District to explore the wonderful world of Pollinators! Listen to a book that describes how pollinators affect the environment, the threats these species face, and how people can help protect them with pollinator gardens! Inspect a flower up close and personal to see how it’s put together, and finally get your hands dirty by making seed balls that will attract pollinators!
Morning at Red Gate Farm
for caregivers and little ones

Come to the farm and see all of the seasonal changes that are taking place. Will the lambs be with their mothers or off exploring? When will our youngest chicks move into the pasture? What yummy treats await us in the farm garden? Join us as we spend fun filled mornings together exploring the answers to these questions, participate in fun, hands-on activities, and meet the animals!
