Building Fluency
JUST WHAT IS FLUENCY?
Reading fluency is reading with accuracy, automaticity & comprehension as well as using appropriate phrasing and prosody (expression/enthusiasm).
Modeling through read-alouds, is a great way to help students develop reading fluency. Below are a few more ideas you may want to try.

You can always find a song that relates to a topic you're studying, or find a song that has words with certain patterns related to your word work for the week.
