Animal Research Project
It is finally here! Animal Project time! We can hear the cheering begin!
This week, we started our Animal Research. During Writer's Workshop time, we will be researching our animals and then write a research paper about our animal. The research/writing part will be done here at school. The animal model will need to be done at home!
Monday, the information about your child's animal model project (in detail) went home in your child's Daily binder explaining when it is due, and what we expect from it. Please read it carefully and let us know if you have any questions!
Also, we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE your child to bring in EXTRA research from home! We would LOVE for them to bring in any info that they find at home, via Internet, or the Frisco Public Library to school to use in their research. The more information they can get their hands on, the better their paper will be! We will be using books and the Internet at school as well to research our animals.
A few websites:
The model is due on April 22nd which is about ONE MONTH away! Right now they are SUPER excited about this project! What a fun time to work together and make a lasting memory with your kiddo!! And we promise they will remember this experience with you!
We cannot wait to see all the final products on April 22nd !
P.S. There are some examples of past projects attached for you to take a look at. This information and pictures will also be under the homework tab on our website.
