Week of 5/28/19
Message from Julie
Dear RISD Elementary Parents,
The ROCKS celebration was AWESOME! I cannot thank Irene Otis and Melissa Goodrich enough for all their help planning! It was AMAZING! And a special shoutout to Angela Welch for her popcorn popping prowess (an all day affair)!
Kids and adults truly had a blast - and I did too!
SME parents - please come on over to our Memorial Day observation on Wednesday at 830 - hoepfully we will be around the flagpole outside if the weather holds.
More info coming on our field day towards the end of the year.
Since we only have 1 taker for the bus, we are going to cancel the buses for the end of the year concert.
Are you getting excited for the Greatest Show - our end of the year concert on May 28 at 630PM at the Academy?

Summerscapes signups will be out the week after break. Mrs. Cole is planning Summerscapes, and is working on a solution for staffing. If you are interested in helping out, you can reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org
We are looking for donations of rakes, trowels, etc. for some of our planting projects. Please bring any items in!
Similarly, if you have any balls/frisbees, etc that you would like to donate to our schools, we would love them! Now that the weather is nice, recess is much more fun!
Have a spectacular week!

We will be focusing on consistency between the two schools. A copy of the handbook will be sent home, but you can also access it online.
