why rugby should be a school sport
with everything more rugby does then football, why shouldn't it be a school sport.
( end of semi state game) 3:18 pm
putting rugby in school would help manage time. practices are only from 5:30-7:30 i the fall and in the spring 4:30-6:30. Only 3 days a week we have practice, leaving Monday, Friday and Saturday all to yourself. mean while football in everyday after school and some day before school. leaving no time to there self when there in high school and should have some time in the week to there self other then a few hours, why not make it a full day.
The rugby team has 3 games a on every Sunday so that we can manage time with church and other things you may have planed and it doesn't take up hardly any time in the day except for a few hours.
this sport has been growing since the first day that ruby came to Avon. from only having enough for hardly a team to having enough to have 3 teams moving in teh devision from being D3 to moving to D1 in only 5 years is saying a lot. not only because its moving two divisions in only 5 years but because it shows the progress of the team and how much the players and coaches have grown, only having a single coach, to now having 4 coaches. having all of these coach's can only make the team better and having people coming onto the team as freshmen means they can only because better by there senior year they will have been playing for 4 years by the time they graduate.
there are many many less injuries in rugby than in any other sport recorded. only being able to hit between the hips and shoulders, making the other thing you can do to hurt someone is run full speed and kicking them. making this sport so safe has improved the game play of many other sports such as football. there are many rugby camps the football coaches send there players to, to learn hoe to tackle. and learn the right way to become more efficient in there tackling skills.
