Smart Gloves
Turn Sign Language Gestures into Speech
How do they work?
Smart Gloves can be used by the deaf or people with significant hearing loss. The gloves have 15 flex sensors in the fingers that measure the degree of blending while a compass, accelerometer, and gyroscope determine the motion of the glove through space. The data is sent via Bluetooth to a mobile device.
