What does mindful listening mean...
Mindful listening means paying attention to sounds. You're not always paying attention to the sounds around you. When you are being mindful you can hear the sounds better.
What is your brain doing?
When you are training your brain to listen mindfully you get better at listening.
Why is it important?
With mindful listening you don't have to react right away to what someone is saying to you. You can think before you do something or say something to others.
Our class played Guess That Sound. In the game it is like a mystery. We had to find out what the teacher was using to make a sound. We could only use our sense of hearing. We learned that when we listen mindfully you can figure out what the mystery sound.
